Miley Cyrus 'super sorry' for YouTube feud

Teen queen Miley Cyrus says she is "super sorry" for posting a video on Youtube of her and a friend mocking a pair of fellow Disney Channel stars.

Cyrus, the 15-year-old controversial star of Hannah Montana, posted a video of her and best friend Mandy Jiroux mocking fellow teen queens and Barney & Friends stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato on YouTube in March.
In the video, almost a scene-by-scene imitation of the original, Cyrus and Jiroux poked fun at Gomez' Power Rangers T-shirt and laughed at Lovato for having a gap fixed in her teeth.

It has been viewed on YouTube almost four million times.

Cyrus told Popstar! magazine she was "super sorry" if she and Jiroux had caused offence.

"I mean, if we offended (Gomez and Lovato), we’re super sorry, but we were, like, just having fun," Cyrus said.

"That’s our thing, to be funny. They were being funny on their show, and (besides) Elvis says imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so we were, like, imitating them. You know, like, being funny."

She later expanded on her apology on Ryan Seacrest's Kiis FM radio show.

"We just thought it was funny," Cyrus told Seacrest.

"I felt bad, we didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. We didn't mean for it to be hurtful."

Cyrus has spent the past few months playing down several controversies, including raunchy photos that were released to the internet and a 'topless' photo in Vanity Fair magazine.
