Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee. Previously, she appeared in the film Big Fish where she played the young Ruthie. She was also featured in the music video of "If Heartaches Have Wings". Ultimately, she landed the lead role on the television show Hannah Montana. Her inclusion in the series acquired her a Teen Choice Award nomination for TV-Choice Breakout Star and led to the release of numerous singles from the Hannah Montana OST.
